Just in time for my birthday! Iron Man II cover on Entertainment Weekly! Awesome!
Adding more flesh and blood to the new movie, Scarlett Johansson joined the cast as Stark’s mysterious new assistant, Natasha, who has an alter ego of her own, Black Widow. That introduction inevitably sparks romantic tension between Stark and former assistant Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), who’s been promoted to CEO of Stark Industries.
I've heard this movie takes place six months after the end of IM, and have already been pondering fic timeline details. But if Pepper's now CEO, I wonder when that happens? Just before IM II starts, or just after IM ends, or somewhere in between? I'm thinking I may to do some redating on Practical Applications, so the sequel (yes, I really do plan to write it) happens sooner. Initially, it happened six months after the end of IM. I know, that's a little tight. I don't want IM II to totally blow Transformative Variations apart with the new stuff being introduced, so instead of November, I' think maybe I should push it, and Practical Applications back to August. And maybe West needs pushing back too [ponders] I think I need to break out the spreadsheet!
Is it next summer yet?!? I am seriously excited about the sequel!!
