Now It Hurts

I cut open the tip of my thumb last night while cutting onions. I misjudged where my thumb was in relation to the point of the knife. I knew I'd made contact with the knife, but it's so sharp, it wasn't till later I realized I'd actually cut it. Today though, it stings like a bitch and I keep forgetting and putting pressure on it. I may wear a ltex glove when I make dinner tonight to keep anything ouchy from getting into it.

I'm not often alowed to use knives since I cut myself ALL the time. Seriously. It's very well known in my family, lol.

Last time I cut myself badly it was with a butter knife cutting chedder cheese, and I damaged the nerves in the end of my left middle finger. That was years ago and it's still messed up.

Yeah, so I can empathize, even the little knicks hurt especially if it's on a well used area.
