After several aborted attempts, I'm finally making pizza tonight. I really love my homemade pizza, but it's an all afternoon affair. From making the dough, to prepping all the toppings, shredding the cheese, seems like that's all I've done since 2pm! Making plain cheese for my father, a bacon, mushroom, and sauteed tomato for mum, and roasted garlic, goat cheese for me and Nin.
Thinking I'll avoid the internet tonight so I don't find out who wins at the Emmys till I get to actually see it. Happens every year since the east coast sees it before the west coast. And now with LJ and Twitter, almost impossible to avoid spoilers. Before, all I had to do was avoid email!
Need to go remind Nin to make margaritas....

Date: 2009-09-21 01:16 pm (UTC)From:But, since my son got his own place, I'm less willing to spent hours at the kitchen. 1º because it will be only me eating, 2º because I suck at cooking "just a little" and I hate to eat the same thing for 3 days, 3º because if I bought my meals already done, I have no cleaning to do afterwards and is cheaper than cook myself.
So, yeah! not a lot of cooking around here lately, except for Saturdays at noon, when the kid comes to visit. And I'm very tempted by your oasted garlic & goat cheese topping, so I'll probably will be doing it next weekend *g*
Now, at December, my parent are coming for a visit, wich means I'll be cooking for a month, including Christmas and New Year meals, and both, mom and mine birthdays. I suspect after that I'll be done for an year *laughs*
