Hard to Believe

It's been a year since I posted Charitable Impulses. Wow! A year since Ezra barged into my fic and took over. Who knew he and Tony would get along so well? And for the life of me, I can't remember why I decided Ezra was a photographer in the present. I know I wanted to do something other than law enforcement, and I think I wanted something that would have him and Tony Stark moving in the same circles. Maybe it was watching Iron Man and seeing the Rolling Stone cover that put the idea in my brain, but in all honesty, I can't remember what oddness my muse was getting up to back then. Certainly didn't plan to keep wrting the character, or to commission my very own Ezra and Tony icon [g]

So happy anniversary, Ez!

I'm fond of it. It's funny, the stories I write off the top of my head always seem to end up being the ones that start something (like He's a Pirate) and end up being sentimental favourites.

Well this was the true beginning of our epic collaboration - even more so than Child of my heart which was just me stealing Charlotte in the beginning. So i know that's part of the reason i love it. The best ever use of Pie was just a bonus [g]

Yep, when I added the pie line, it was purely Tony related. Never connected it with M7 fandom or Vin and the fanon about him having a sweet tooth. No idea the pie was going to take on a life of its own.

Odd how He's a Pirate, where I created Charlotte, was just off the top of my head, and I never planned to write her again. Hah! Pushy wench. If I'd actually *planned* the story, she would have had a different name at least LOL
