Overall, I enjoyed it.


It really sped along much faster than the original. I can only assume it's because since it's a remake, we already know that the Visitors are lizards, so they decided to cut to the chase.

I hate that they call them Vs (Vees?), oh so much.

Morena Baccarin as Anna is excellently creepy.

Kinda like the fact that there is a Visitor resistance movement.

Definitely will be tuning in for next week's. I guess I'm cautiously optimistic :)

I'm not surprised that people shortened it to "Vees"....but that the news reporters and the Visitors use that shorthand *on the first day of Contact*. oi.


part of me wants the Visitors to have their own motivations, emotions, (the whole 9 yards), not all of which will sync up well with the human mental set...

...and part of me will be happy so long as the Visitors aren't all Pure Evil (except for the overly-angsty ones who gladly die so mankind may live).

I may have thought about it too much while I waited for it to air. (sorry)

Mm, didn't get to see it on account of home improvement projects, but I've saved it for later. *sighs* They're remaking all my favorite shows from before, though.
