Okay, I'll start. Some people say they don't like Rebecca, but I did like her. I thought she rocked. I loved the first scene when Duncan was all dressed out for New Year's Eve, so so handsome.

Then when he meets Rebecca and Tessa is very jealous and warns him to keep away from her. Something to the effect that even really old men mess up. And then she starts banging on her sculpture and you can see he's very irritated.

I think Duncan and Tessa make a great couple and it's times like these that you can really see their relationship and how much they love one another.

I didn't particularly like the quickening. Outside - pots of plants exploding - boring.

You know I'm gonna disagree with you about Rebecca, don't you, hon?

This was a reasonably well done episode, IMO, with an interesting story that revealed tons about Duncan and Tessa's relationship dynamics. But...Rebecca, or rather Vanity, chewed the scenery and overacted her way through every scene. I didn't like her, didn't believe the character and I thought it was very poor casting.

As David A said (I think it was in Sydney) they were under pressure to use 'rock stars' because they'd sold it to the Japanese investors as a show with swords and rockstars. Sometimes it worked (Roland Gift) - sometimes it didn't.

Voting for this being a time it didn't.

I knew you would disagree. What's funny, is that the first Highlander I ever owned was the first movie and then the tape from the tv show which was The Gathering and Revenge.

They were the only two shows on the tape. I thought that was the second show. And I watched them over and over.

I know David wasn't really thrilled with her, but it really worked for me and I liked the part of Rebecca.

Oh yeah, the part about which part of Duncan's anatomy decided Rebecca wasn't behind Tessa's artwork being vandalized or her being sent the dress that burned her skin. And we all know which part of his anatomy that was. So did Tessa.

There was a story too, and I don't remember the name or the author. But in the story, Duncan runs into Rebecca later and has her over for a date, and Methos shows up and they try to one -up each other. Only Rebecca figures out that Duncan wants Methos and vice versa.

I remember that story! Except, you know, important stuff like the title and who wrote it. Argh.

That would be it. Thanks. Poor Duncan. The man can't win for losing.
