So we finally watched last week's episode, and overall it was an okay episode, but I have to say, I don't really like that the Trickster turned out to be Gabriel. I liked the Trickster as the Trickster. I've been waiting for Gabriel to make an appearance, but that wasn't what I was expecting. So it was something of a let down.

To me, it was like Highlander making Cassandra the woman from Methos' past as a Horseman. Instead of creating a new character, they were just lazy and took a preexisting one and said, here, you're going to be this person now! Whatever, dudes.

Not really being involved in the fandom, I have no idea how these sorts of things play, but to me, it was annoying.

I thought the Trickster as Gabriel was just a LITTLE too convenient. Plus, you'd think if he was Gabriel, he would have revealed himself a lot sooner.

I'm wondering how much longer they can drag this season out before it gets dumb or repetitive. Sooner or later, both Dean and Sam will HAVE to say yes to both Michael and Lucifer. Since this is supposed to be the last season of the show, I'd much prefer it to go out GOOD as opposed to 3 seasons later and I hate the show.

You notice WB/CW shows lose momentum around season 5?

He drew them there with the bizarre deaths in town. Then, he drew them to the warehouse with the fake police scanner messages.

At least, that's how I saw it.
