A More Permanent Hell

I finally gave up on Supernatural. I'd been on the fence, keeping on recording it, not quite sure if I was going to stop watching entirely, but spoilers from last week's decided it. So the timer and the 12 eps we hadn't seen got deleted last night. I'd say it was fun while it lasted, but SPN was never really a 'fun' show - but I did enjoy the six seasons that came before. I will, at least, miss the pretty. Fare thee well, Supernatural.

Thinking it's time to delete the SPN folder on the DVR. We watched the first three eps of the season, and now, I have many episodes to watch. Thing is, I don't think I really miss the show. What I saw of the beginning of the season just didn't grab me, and the few spoilers I've come across over the months make me think I will remain ungrabbed. Maybe I'll wait a while longer, till I really need the HD space, or maybe I just need to do the big delete!

We're making a concerted effort to catch up with SPN since we heard the newest, or a newer ep, is something we really are curious to see. So now we only have four left! That as close as we've been since the season started.

In other TV news, new Army Wives starts tonight (have full box of tissue standing by)! And there's Amazing Race. And hopefully, it won't be mostly all repeats next week again, but I won't know till I see them - or not - on the DVR. I really don't keep track anymore, and there's really nothing on currently that I'm fannishly devoted to that I haunt the listings. Not that I don't wish there was something out there.

We finally finished both Supernatural and Merlin! They both ended so long ago, no one is interested in what I thought, but we did enjoy both season enders. Now I need to catch up with House. Oh, and last episode of 24 - haven't gotten to that either.
