Just a quick flyby. I haven't been online much since I got the new job. Hoping to get a netbook once I have a few paychecks under my belt so I can check in on my lunch breaks. Totally never going to catch up on my f'list so if I'm missing out on something you think I need to know, then tell me :)

Oh, yes, job is going good. apparently I'm picking stuff up much quicker than they anticipated, so this makes them all very happy. And me.

Hopefully more in depth posting will happen on the weekend.

Plenty of snow here, just like Mischief. Although we have gotten 18" of snow, only 8 remain on the ground (thanks to the rain we got earlier in the week).

In the middle of a blizzard right now. The airport got 2 1/2 inches of snow during one hour this afternoon. We are looking at another foot of snow overnight.

I'm typing this on my wife's Acer Aspire One (netbook) using a separate USB keyboard. I find the keyboards on most netbooks to be too small for my hands.
