My goal today is to try and spend some quality LJ time. I know I won't ever catch up, but I miss you all!! And there's lots going on too. The Holiday Recathon is already more than halfway through, and the Highlander fic exchange has been chugging right along too. Speaking of the Recathon.... OMG!! Tonight is Nin's work Xmas party, to which I am also invited. I need to see if any of my 'going out' clothes still fit me. That is very much the question.

The job. Well, I don't know. It's like a rollercoaster - one that I hope turns into a kiddy ride one of these days. I'd also like to stop having to eat Pepto like it's candy.

I really need to clean my room, but am feeling entirely unmotivated. Nin and I did decorate my room with all the stuff we used to use in our apt in Monterey. So we have the white and red mini tree up, and all our holiday stuffed animals and such. There's a big tree in the living room, but since none of us are ever in that room unless we're headed to the kitchen, I wanted one I could see everyday. Norrington thinks Xmas is just for him. When we come out in the morning, he's usually asleep half way up the tree. Needless to say, ornaments are not a part of the tree this year!

I realized I didn't write a Christmas story this year. Which is kind of a bummer since it is a semi-tradition. Maybe the wrting muse will return when my life stops being a rollercoaster. [crosses fingers]

Okay, I'd best get moving and get something accomplished.
