I just can't seem to not feel tired lately. Even when I get to be early, I'm just dragging. I think some of it's blasted DST.
Sage had her kittens - SIX of them, and they're adorable. Sage lets me scratch her ears while she's feeding the brood, and she'll come out to eat and drink and be totally okay with me handling them (had to take out icky towel and replace with fresh blankie) Photos forthcoming when they're a little more out in the open. Vet says Ebony should have hers within a week.
Got my new suitcase and it's much bigger than I thought it would be, but I like it!
I'm seeing posts about 'Ezzie' nominations. I've gathered it's an Ezra fic award thingie, yes? And if any of my fic gets nominated, someone will tell me, right? I'm so out of the loop these days!
Speaking of Ezra, I've decided to backtrack and change the POV in the part of 'West' I've been writing to his from Charlotte's. I think it'll work better. On the other hand, the whole tired thing has meant no writing is happening.
I am so glad it's Friday and am so looking forward to the PWFC Road Trip at the end of April! I need a break, even a short one.
Listening to "Lewis & Clark, Sounds of Discovery" - I'd forgotten how much I like it.
Was sad to see Fess Parker died. I loved Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone when I was a little girl.
We have 50 mph gusts tonight and things are banging and crashing outside. Being a California coast girl, it's still weird to me to get such strong winds and keep power. I just instinctively keep waiting for the power to cut out.

"Ezzie" nominations? Didn't see them. But them, I'm mostly reading just my narrow filter in my flist, so no a lot of chances I knew about them.
Fess Parker died? Oh, man! Daniel Boone! *is sad*

Date: 2010-03-19 11:50 am (UTC)From:The Ezzies aren't just for fic, but for art, web sites, and other categories. One of your icons has been nominated. Feel free to nominate your own work! It's a good way to expose it to others who might not have see it.

Date: 2010-03-19 12:04 pm (UTC)From:I think that I have to be one of the very few who absolutely loves DST!! The downside is that I'm not ready to go to bed at night, and morning comes quickly, especially since it is calving season. But I love the daylight in the evenings, and the darkness at THIS part of the morning doesn't bother me in the least. What is wrong with me? LOL
