Looks like the Writers Strike is over! I read that show runners will be back at work tomorrow.

What does it mean for your fave show? You can check out this post over at TV Guide and find out.

For my fellow Peter fans, 24 is still down as not returning till the fall, or 2009, and Men in Trees is down as no new episodes other than what's already in the can [sigh]

My other shows, House, Grey's, Ugly Betty, Private Practice, all look like they'll get four more new episodes to air in May.

Later: Forgot Chuck! Bad me! No more Chuck till the fall [pouts] It's probably my favourite of the new shows this season.

Happy Day!

Over at [livejournal.com profile] wga_supporters, there's some strike line photos. One of them is Strike Captain David Abramowitz! Go here, third photo down.

TV Shows See Strike as a Second Chance

In the television business the grim reality of the writers’ strike has set in, with the prospect of a long shutdown of scripted shows growing stronger by the day.

But in what seems to be growing consensus among executives at the television networks, the strike could contain a faint glimmer of good news for one group of shows: struggling, barely surviving prime-time series.

Meant to mention that I read on the PWFC list that they think Peter had filmed at least his first episode already. So if nothing else, we'll get to see that before the new episodes run out. Which is cool, because I'm liking MiT more and more as time goes on. I think he's going to be great on it! Last night's episode was very enjoyable.

Before I get to that, I threw together a WGA support icon last night. I was trying to think up some sort of an original catch phrase, and this was the result -- It Starts With a Story [shrug] Better than nothing. Anyway, if anyone is still in need of an icon, this one is snagable, for what that's worth.

And now for TV last night... )

Didn't get to SPN, but will try and watch it tonight.
