Feb. 26th, 2012 12:55 pmThey've restored the TV adverts for 'Star Trek: The Motionless' Picture in HD (Orson Welles was the narrator.). Boy, have movie advertisements changed over the last 30 years. The pace, the style, so much slower and with no sense of urgency like today's.

Finally, the Star Trek
May. 31st, 2009 11:11 pmWe really enjoyed it, will probably go again.
Thought Karl Urban as Bones rocked, also liked the new Kirk, Scotty, and Uhura. A little underwhelmed with the guy who plays Spock. Maybe he'll grow on me in the sequel.
Now I need to backtrack and find all the cool threads, fic, etc., I missed by seeing the movie so late.
