SPN

We're behind on SPN (so what else is new?), I think we've seen two eps of this season so far. What's interesting is the reactions on the f'list. I'm not reading spoilers, but the before the cut reactions seem to split between love and hate (yes, I know, so what else is new?). So I'm curious what the heck is going on, and wondering if I'm going to like what I haven't seen yet, or not. We'll see - whenever I get a chance to watch what's on the DVR.

I haven't chosen to watch last or this season, partially since I am tired of the lack of development in the characters. From what I can tell, sam is still ambiguous (is he good? Is he evil? Tune in to find out!) and dean is still depressed and angsty. My basic reaction after reading the recap was: really? We're still doing this?)

I have a love/hate relationship with it this season, depending on the episode. However I'm more on the love side most of the time, so I think it's worth watching.

I think it's a serious case of YMMV. I have people on my FL who hated l the last 2 seasons singing the praises of this one. And those who liked/loved the last 2 are hating this one, and a few have given up completely over the past month. I'm sick and tired of the retconning and general "who gives a shit?" attitude from the writing staff in regards to canon. After last night, I've damn near reached my bullshit tolerance level with it.

The only really good episode so far this season has been "Weekend at Bobby's" I'm pretty meh about the rest. I think it should have been canceled at the end of last season now it just feels forced but i'm a SPN addict so i can't stop watching
