ninjababe is a huge X Men fan, in fact, it was how we 'met' - she asked me to beta an XM/Forever Knight fic of hers. At that point, I knew nothing abut XM, but sure, why not? Fast forward to today, we never went to see the latest movie, and I noticed it was on PPV last night, so asked if she's like to watch it, and she said no, not right now, maybe some other day. Even with the added bonus of the guy from HEX being in it. I was even going to watch it without a trade!

I'd maybe consider if there were electronic issues I could download to my computer or reader, at reasonable prices for individual issues, or maybe discounts if they were collected into a series issue. My shelves are groaning under the weight of textbooks and art books and students' papers, and they really couldn't handle even one more book. :)

Yeah, that would be great. Marvel does have what it calls a "Digital Comics Unlimited" subscription, but it's a subscription service rather than an al a cart one. I'd love to be able to get just the stories I want to read at individual download prices too. Maybe someone will do that someday?

So you subscribe and can pick and choose any individual comic you want to download or do they say, You can only download a series? How does it work? Because I wouldn't want to download a whole series without knowing whether I would like it. I'd want to check out the first issue, and then decide whether to order more.
