I never thought Twitter would become the place online where I have the most interaction with people. LJ seems to be fading away, and everyone has moved on to other internet locales. Since I don't do Facebook, I guess it's me and Twitter - at least till something else presents itself! Which I hope it does not too far in the future.

I have a Twitter, but have never really tried it out. I'm mostly computer less at the moment, but I guess it's still LJ for me! :)

I never imagined spending my online social time anywhere but LJ. It's so weird.

I have yet to see anything of LJ slowing down. It's still the same amount of posting that I've seen on my friends list--the only quiet times are Saturdays, but there are still a decent number of posts today, too.

If LJ goes away, I'll just use Dreamwidth--I refuse to touch Facebook or Twitter.

I love LJ and wish more people were still around. I miss the interaction.

Well, maybe people just hate me and it's not LJ. Wouldn't be the first time. Dreamwidth is a duplicate of LJ, so no love there either LOL

I hate twitter, so I hope you'll at least maintain a presence here.

Slowness with people responding could also be because of the DDOS attack. LJ's still dealing with it.

I'm here, just doesn't seem to be much point most days, I guess.

This isn't recent, this has been going on for months. Like I said, maybe it's me. If no one else has noticed, it probably is.

The DDoS attacks have been regular, and also going on for months. The Russian political bloggers are the target, but the DDoS attacks influence us all. People are fed up and moving on to different platforms. If I had to move completely, I'd prefer Dreamwidth over Twitter, but I'm hoping it won't come to that.

As for me, my life as been beset with such disasters that my usage of anything online has really dwindled. I have failed to keep up with NaBloPoMo, filled very few entries on my Mag7 Bingo card, and am already wondering will I be able to do a decent job on my Mag7 Big bang artwork. I haven't read a Mag7 fanfic in months, and only several in the Thor fandom, but only because it's so new and exciting, and because I sacrificed a couple of hours of sleep for it. I'm hoping things will calm down for me somewhat over the winter holidays, when I will be able to catch up.

I have been bad and not posting much, but I have the busy right now in an effort to save money for car stuff and conventions next year. I'm hoping to meet Matt Smith!

That's right. This morning I tried to comment on two ljs and couldn't because LJ was down again. So I just went to bed and forgot about it.

I never get interaction from twitter. Or very darn little. More on facebook.

Never been on Facebook, so no way to compare the two. I think Twitter has been active for me is that I have people from fandom, and from my old blogging days there, plus people they know.

I'm going to stay here. Even though I have Twitter and Tumblr, I never use them, because I can't figure them out. I really don't care for Twitter, since it's so limited with what you can write. I don't understand the hashtags, trending, any of that crap. I'm too old to relearn the Internet. Eff it.

I'll go where there's people to talk to.

I have a Twitter account but haven't been active since March. I seem to stick strictly to LJ. And I refuse to get a Facebook account. The more I hear about it, the less appealing it becomes.

I'll be honest: I couldn't stomach Twitter. Tried and failed. The word limit was far too restrictive; I felt as though nothing of substance could be said, and so everyone was reduced to speaking in bumper-sticker slogans.

But I'm old and crotchety, don't ya know. ;)

I've been spending a lot of time on various LJ communities recently that seem to be quite active, but it's not a fair sampling, to be sure.

i don't think it's you! my flist has been slower, and I've been posting less and commenting less. I'm not even sure why, I've had an odd year maybe and just haven't had a lot to say?

I think for me it's that so many years have gone by for Highlander. I miss its prime. Many of the HL folks have moved on to new fields. I'm spending more time on Twitter than LJ too, but using my name. Maybe that was a mistake. Mayhaps I should have signed up as adabsolutely there too. Anywhozit, I'm using tumbler to follow the young folk and their Sherlock creations. Also, I hope it will be a good venue for my flower pics. We all have our strange little habits...take care.

Call me paranoid, but the recent wave of attacks is probably connected with elections here (in Russia), so there is a hope things will come down - the elections are today.

Things did slow down in my corner of LJ, and I'm no exeption - there were days I posted three times a day, and now about one post in a month. Mostly because I've become lazier and more closed person and more involved in RL.
But I'm reading my f-list regulary, and usually comment when I have something to say:).
And I doubt I'll ever change LJ as my main internet home - 8 years here, after all, and I'm creature of habbit:).

The same. I'm still on meds, which aren't very easy on my stomach but I don't have the severe reactions I was worried about. In ten days I have another checkup, and more x-rays. We'll see how it goes from there.

There was a comment on Dreamwidth recently about all the trouble Russian bloggers go through because they're using LJ as a political platform. There was a mention of deliberate targeting and attempts to reveal the identities of bloggers, as well as cases of online bullying and threats. So even though it annoys me a great deal, I can live with LJ being down while people are trying to deal with that.

For some reason I can't seem to stick with Twitter. I'll get on a streak, and then I'll forget about it for a while. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out what to do with this Tumblr.

I do the exact same thing. So much so, people know not to unfollow me as I will come back eventually. Right now, I'm in a Tweet mode.

Tumblr kind of baffles me. The pretty pictures are nice, but I don't visit all that often.

Yeah, neither do I. Although, I can't seem to stay away from Memos from Fury.

As for LJ, I plan to be around more now. Just turned in my last project for library school and will be graduating this month. :)

I'm still too paranoid to use my real name on places like Twitter. I do have a G+ in my real name, but that's due to trying to have a controlled RL presence on the internet more than for any useful reason [g]

I was one of the last to give up on email lists and was dragged kicking and screaming onto LJ. I'm sure 10 years from now, I'll be someplace else and feeling nostalgic for LJ LOL

Facebook kinda creeps me out - which is why I'm not on there.

You're not paranoid. The attacks have been reported here in the news. I hope things get better there :(

Oh, I'm always reading. But I don't have a lot to say right now. The life of a substitute teacher is not terribly interesting. Also, no one wants to hear me (a) whine incessantly about the fact I don't a have a full time job, or (b) gush about Benedict Cumberbatch.

But I do read everything.

I hope, too - after all, in the first time in years people actually went and voted... The results are still predictable and disgusting, but maybe it'll be a beginning... I'm not sure we could survive another revolution:(.
