ithildin: (Grey's - Seriously)
I'm listening to a radio station in Dublin, Ireland, and while the DJ is Irish, all the bumper announcements, like the song coming up, and station adverts, are by North Americans. What's with that? They sound like the exact same voices/style I hear on radio stations here (they probably are!).

In other news: Nin and I are going to try and actually leave the house today. Concept. Though, I haven't made much headway removing myself from the computer. Twitter and Tumblr are like big shiny glittery pits of quicksand!

Well, while some of the music would be in Irish, a lot of it would be in English. Its the presenters who will be speaking 'as Gaeilge!'

Radio na Life is a good one to check out (http://www.raidionalife.ie/) as well as RTE 2FM, although both seem to play just dance music during Saturday evening! 2FM have some excellent recorded sessions, however!

Also, a list of all the RTE stations!

I got that bit LOL - just meant since I listen to music in other languages, the presenters speaking in them is no big deal.
