Yeah, two shows you don't usually see in the same sentence [g] But two shows we're now caught up on!
Army Wives: I remembered all over again why I adore this show. Nin and I were discussing it, and one of the main reasons is that it's a show that portrays real and positive friendships between women. Any show that does that is going to get major brownie points from me. And beyond that, it's just a well written, well acted show with characters you'd like to know in RL. I think I'm going to have to get S1 on DVD.
Doctor Who: loved both 'Forest' and 'Midnight', and then...
we saw the preview. Lord. Rose is back. Just when I thought it was safe [sigh] So I'm not particularly looking forward to what's to come.
Since I'm behind, I have no idea who Dr. Song is supposed to be according to the fandom peeps, but I assume she's his mate/wife/special bit of crumpet/certified TARDIS mechanic? Okay, just kidding about that last one [g] I was kind of hoping she was Romana, but I guess he would have known she was a Time Person is she was, right? And will we ever find out? I hope so because I really liked her! And I adore time paradox meetings sorts of plots. Have written them myself.
Midnight was really good in an old film thriller sort of way. And the flight attendant was one of the nurses on Holby, or at least I'm pretty sure she was.
