dejlaI've always joked that my personality in part is due to reading Jane Eyre for the first time when I was seven. Just finished watching the newest rendition on Masterpiece Theater, and am thinking maybe that's not quite as much a joke as I thought it was :)
Maybe if I'd read Austen instead of Bronte, I'd have a cheerier outlook on life!
Definitely recommend the new miniseries. Very good, though stuffed into four hours, it's a little sparse in some parts.
