1.When you were a kid, did you watch Saturday morning television? What were your favorite shows/cartoons?
Old fashioned Looney Tunes, though there was a live action Sat. morning show called 'Space Academy' that I liked, along with 'Land of the Lost'.

2.What's your favorite snack food?
Cheese!

3.What job would you never, ever want to have?
Prison guard.

4.If you suddenly become uber rich, like say, $50 million dollars rich, what's the first thing you would buy?
A house.

5.What one historical event would you like to go back in time and be present at?
This is a hard one! So many things to choose... Well, being at the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath would be cool, or the speech Elizabeth I gave to her troops before the Spanish Armada. But how about attending an actual Glenn Miller concert during WWII? I'll go with that, I think. Not really a historical event, but something I'd do if I had a TARDIS :)

Had To Happen Eventually

Usually the music the guys play out in the warehouse gives me a headache. But miracle of miracles, they're finally playing something I actually love! Snow Patrol! Wow, I think there must be some strange planetary alignment or something....

Flash Floods

There's really monster flash floods in SW Utah currently. My brother just called so I wouldn't worry if I heard something on the news. The road is cut off between where mum works and the house. Several homes have been destroyed, along with bridges and roads. she was going to sit tight in for the night, but then a coworker and her were going to take the long way round home since more cells are heading in later tonight. My brother just called again, and they have enough of the road open to let people out the regular way now, but they probably won't be letting anyone back in. Bro says that the house is fine, though the road was like a river for awhile, and probably will be again tonight when the next cells hit. They're going to call when mum gets home so I don't worry.

Later: Mum just called. She's home safe, but she said the devastation they saw as they drove home was just awful. They're still trying to evacuate people by helicopter in some areas nearby.
