My allergies are killing me the last few days - and that's with Allegra and a chaser of Benadryl. And, of course, it makes my asthma flare up.
I was going to can my smoked habanero salsa this weekend, but I need about another pound and a half to ripen for picking first, so I guess it'll be next weekend now. Haven't done much else but laundry and write. Did make bruschetta on the bbq grill last night though, and it was sooo good! Used tomatoes from the garden, half of them picked as I was cutting up the first batch - they were still warm form the sun. Today, hope to get some more writing done, and there's also much cleaning on the docket.

avengersblend.So far, the best recipe out of the new preserves book I got this summer is the strawberry lemon jam. It actually has little wedges of lemon on the rind in the jam, and it's absolutely delicious on heavier breads like English Muffins.

Aug. 7th, 2011 06:34 pmErrr, it grew by part. This got really long, and there's still stuff that needs to happen! But almost :) I'm really fond of this part, so I hope you enjoy it. The majority of the Charlotte POV section was written nearly three years ago, and only needed a few slight modifications to fit into what was written later.
