It was finally playing at the faux IMAX in Springdale, so we went and saw it one last time on the big screen. Then we came home and watched the movie with the Joss commentary. I think I'm in the mood now to write the sequel to Whites As Snow, since it takes place during the movie, I've been pondering the logistics.

Speaking of the DVD, actually it's the BluRay, it's just they're DVDs to me.... Anyway, I was really disappointed that after months of hearing about 45 minutes of deleted scenes, there were a paltry 13 minutes on the disc. And all but one, I'd seen on YouTube already. Maybe they're saving them for the Phase One box set coming out in the spring. I also need to see how to access the Easter egg I read about, security footage of Loki in the cell. And see if there are other Easter eggs.

So looking forward to IM III!

Watched it today with two friends at home, so now I'm on 6 counts, three on the big screen, three in English:).

They brought new director for IM3, so I'm a little wary. but let's hope for the best:).

He did Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with RDJ, so I'm hopeful, and from what I've heard RDJ is really happy the direction this one is taking. Keeping fingers crossed!

At least you got extras. Region 2 DVD release had one 5 minute documentary. That's it, not even a commentary (apparently Joss hadn't finished it when the UK release went to press, despite the fact it was only a week before US release)

Disney really dropped the ball on this one, it's practically vanilla. If it wasn't The Avengers/Avengers Assemble I wouldn't have wanted it at all. *wipes the rabid foam away*

The Blu-ray isn't much better than the DVD over here, I think it has the gag-reel that we've all seen and that's it. And I don't have a Blu-Ray player anyway.

If you found the access to the Easter Egg, please, share it - haven't found it so far.

Yeah, the extra material was quite... manageable. I had the feeling that on Thor, Cap or IM 1/2 was always a bit more.

And I envy you nevertheless because Disney decided here to softwash certain scenes - like the one with Coulson and the blade. Here in Germany we are not allowed to see the blade through the front side of his shirt, just the blood stain. Ridiculous.
