I have no idea what's going on. All I do know is that demons lie, and I'm not going to take anything said or seen at face value. I guess we might know more next week!
I almost damn sure he was lying about WHY he killed Mary. Though, I suspect there may be truth in him favoring Sam somewhat. Surely he couldn't have been sending his son and daughter to every one of the children from Sam's generation?
