Flood Photos

Here's a photo gallery of some of the flood yesterday. You can see the area where my family lives though it's not usually quite so wet and muddy! There's one photo of a street in La Verkin that looks like a river, and that's pretty close to what my brother described our street being like.

They get 'monsoon rains' in the desert late July/Early August. Mum says she still isn't used to that kind of rain this time of year, especially when it's 100 degrees out [g]

How terrible. Glad to hear your family is fine. They live in such a gorgeous area. Did you grow up there?

It is beautiful there. Nope, I'm a born and bred Californian who has lived the majority of my life here in CA, except for part of my childhood in Canada.

My parents and brother moved there about three years ago, and I'll be following at some point in the near future :)
