ithildin: (Vintage - Friends)
I've been looking for a rocking chair to replace the torn up armchair in my bedroom. I was in the second hand store today, and found the perfect one. It's Arts & Crafts, 1940. I adore Arts & Crafts style! And this chair is sturdy and well made - not like a lot of the ones I've seen so far. Unfortunately, it's $250 I don't have. I really shouldn't have walked in to the shop.

See if they let you put it on layaway. You never know if you don't ask.

Oooh I bet it was gorgeous, I love industrial design from that era too.

Too bad. The chair sounds awesome.
