Randomnosity About That Trek Movie

I'm beginning to wonder if there will be a single casting announcement where I actually know who the actor is? Not that it really matters, since I'm in 'reserving judgment' mode over the movie in general. It could be good. They pulled it off with James Bond, so there's a possibility they might do it with this. Time will tell.

I actually don't want an actor I know for that. I'd be thinking "oh look it's the famous Blah Blah!" rather than "there's Kirk from when he was at the Academy!"

It isn't so much famous, just literally having never even heard of these guys. Okay, I had heard of the guy from Heroes secondhand through LJ posts, but that's as close as it gets! [g]

Ah, but Simon Pegg as Scotty - whoo hoo!!! (um, think 'Shawn of the Dead', and 'Hot Fuzz' - and 'Spaced' (on British telly!)
