We got home last night from our Fresno jaunt. Well, technically, it's Clovis, but more people have a general idea where Fresno is than Clovis! It was a lovely autumn weekend, absolutely gorgeous! We had a wonderful time! Nin and I are the only two members of the Central CA region that don't live in the Fresno area, but the local gals always make us feel like part of the group.
We watched the moose commentary version of Brother Bear after dinner Saturday, and it was a big hit. Seriously, it's one of the funniest things ever, and something we like to pimp out when we're with a group of friends. It is much fun! Sunday after lunch, we watched three episodes of Queen of Swords. So funny watching with all California natives as we groaned about how much Spain does not look like coastal central CA!
On the way home, we hit Sonic, and there was much drinking of Cherry Limeaids! However, we were still unable to free Phil Colllins. Poor Phil.
Came home to see that LJ has been sold off. Just so you know, I don't have any plans to leave LJ, not until they do something to totally tick me off :) However, if need be, you can always find me here at Insane Journal. I only really post fic there at this point, but that's where I'll go should all hell break loose here.

You'll enjoy this, I think... you know, slash is not my thing, but I do get a real kick out of inadvertently slashy lines of dialog, and if you put me and Nin together, well, all bets are off! So, we're watching Death to the Queen, Nin and I are sitting next to each other on a sofa, and other people are on various chairs around us. She's doing needlepoint and I'm occasionally looking at her progress. We've now seen this episode nearly half a dozen times, so we're being considerate and keeping quiet since most of the rest there had never seen any QoS. When Montoya stops his carriage and says to Helm, 'Doctor, I need you', Nin and I just *looked* at each other, and she slapped her hand over her mouth to keep from laughing. I thought she was going to pop a gasket! And the rest of the dialog didn't help matters [snicker]
