Merry Xmas to Me!

There's a shop I occasionally buy clothes from -- very rarely, and then only from the sale sale rack! I was looking today, and came across the absolutely most perfect dress. It's a sample for something they'll be making for their spring line, so this right now is the only one, and it's less than half the price what they regular line will be in the spring. It's based an an actual dress form the 1920s, my favourite vintage clothing era. And I love the fabric to pieces. Nin convinced me to get it as a present to myself. I called her three times before I actually bought it!





Now I have something to wear in Vegas!

It's so pretty! I'm just hoping I actually get it. They have a small shop and their internet shopping is a bit old fashioned -- it doesn't track if someone else has already bought something. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Isn't it pretty? I did!! They emailed me this morning to make sure I realized it wasn't part of the sale before they processed my order. I did realize it, and let them know, so it's MINE! I feel a little guilty about spending the money, but holding it my hands should help [g]

I'm very happy I found it! I can't believe no one else had bought it already. That's usually what happens when I shop there. I guess the odds were in my favour! I love that era. And I love hats too. I have a vintage purse from the late twenties and my ring from the early thirties, so I have an outfit [g]
