We got home about an hour ago, safe and sound. Downloaded my mail and am fairly certain I'll never catch up with all of it. I see tons and tons of Las Vegas/PWFC emails on both lists. Is there anything there I should be aware of, or can I skip it without fear? As for my f'list, goodness only knows how far I'll work back, so if you posted something nifty, or you have news, let me know, okay?
I think that about covers it. Now to unpack and and get stuff ready for work tomorrow.

Date: 2008-01-15 03:05 pm (UTC)From:There's mucho mucho talk about GOH's, who would like to see who, etc etc etc. Also airfares, lack of trains arriving in LV and some general wanking.
Ree and Sandy posted some stuff about the hotel renovations, I saved those. I also saved Leah's comments about the Riviera's restaurant and deals.
A few new members have joined, have been welcomed and all have been told to cut and paste, which I think, may have injured a newbie's feelings.
Nothing new has been decided and my delete key has been getting a workout!
Roberta and I have been emailing, as I need a roommate, preferably one who is tolerant of con organizers. So you and Nin may be drafted in helping with toting and carrying auction stuff.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming....

I still need a roommate as well but I'm waiting until a few months have past. Especial since this is my first con.
Sorry to have hijacked your comment.

Date: 2008-01-17 06:20 pm (UTC)From:As for the next one, probably not right away. I really, really need to finish the WIP I started last year. I've begun to feel guilty for stringing my readers along. But the next QoS story is all plotted out in my head for the most part, so hopefully once I start, it should move fairly quickly. Maybe.

Date: 2008-01-17 06:10 pm (UTC)From:As for the guest part, I only want to see if PW looks as good in person as he does on TV, and hope to get an autograph for myself and for my best mate. I'm not even sure if they will allow autographs.
I'm not sure if other newbies feel the same as I do. All I know about cons is from my friends, so maybe I'm more realistic than someone else.
