I was pondering that ship meme that's been going around and came to the conclusion I don't have enough of them to warrant a poll. And of the ones I do have, I'm not all that attached. Yes, I am an LJ aberration -- but you love me anyways, right? At least you know I'll never have a ship war with you!

There are certain ships that I like over others, but I'm not really a die-hard shipper with any of my fandoms.

[sniffs] Awww! I was thinking of what ships I like, and for example Methos/Amanda is more of a fall back pairing. I don't mind, but I can't really say I'm a shipper over them. It's more like Methos with anyone as opposed to it having to be Amanda. You know? [g]

Basically, you create a poll with all your ships and people choose the ones they share with you. Some people's are loooong!

Heh - I'm a total 'ship ho, as you've already noticed. I just love the different dynamics you get between different pairings - romantic, or platonic, really. 'Ship wars, however, are rather silly. When it comes down to it, I'm going to judge people by themselves, not by arbitrary likes and dislikes. It's like flaming someone for not liking coffee, or something!

I think there are possibly five that I feel strongly about, but I stay out of shipper wars because I don't deal particularly with the stress.

There is enough stress in my life. I don't need more.

And it took me until I reached the top of the page on which this post appeared to realize that what you meant by "ship meme" wasn't to do with some_day_soling's boats, and that the poll wouldn't have dinghys, coracles, etc. in it.
