I was pondering that ship meme that's been going around and came to the conclusion I don't have enough of them to warrant a poll. And of the ones I do have, I'm not all that attached. Yes, I am an LJ aberration -- but you love me anyways, right? At least you know I'll never have a ship war with you!

And it took me until I reached the top of the page on which this post appeared to realize that what you meant by "ship meme" wasn't to do with some_day_soling's boats, and that the poll wouldn't have dinghys, coracles, etc. in it.

And then come back so I could tell you about it :-)

(And did I mention that for the longest time I thought "Au" stories were some kind of gold standard?)
