My last EOM closing of the year, and forever. Monday starts my last week, seventeen years and 204 closings later. Actually, 203 since I missed one when I had pneumonia.
Wow. I can't even imagine 17 years - and 17 years missing the end of the month only once!! That must be so scary - and exciting! Best wishes for a wonderful new year!
I won't be able to close the month until Friday. Then it's the annual struggle to get the End of Year financials prepared as well and change over all the files for the new year. Um...yea?
Wow, the longest I stayed in a job so far is 3 years, not counting the extra 9 months I was on maternity leave but technically still employed :)
Many congrats on a new beginning, and farewell to chasing idiots for timesheets, invoices, orders and other misc paperwork that you can apparently do accounts without due to BEING PSYCHIC XD
That's a long time at one job. Although I've been at Baptist going on 16 years, I've worked in different areas of the hospital. I've been in the ED the longest at 10 years.
I know it's sad to leave, but it's exciting to start somewhere new again too.
