Told my mum I wanted roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for my birthday dinner next week. Even if it is going to be 100+ outside. Not my fault my birthday's in the summer! Will have to go down to the canning room and pull out a couple of the nice bottles of wine I have tucked away.

OH MY GOD I LOVE YORKSHIRE PUDDING!!!!!

that was a total food squee!

we have yorkshire pudding every time we have roast beast, and we have to make vast quantities of it, due to its popularity in my family. i think we use my nana's recipe, but i'm not sure.

now i seriously want roast beast and yorkshire.
*drool*

I've never had Yorkshire pudding, what's it taste like?

Well, they're very similar to what Americans call popovers. Except savoury, since you use drippings on the bottom of the pan.
