The first time was when he stayed at her house for the first time. He wandered down to the kitchen to get coffee dressed only in his undies. and what she said was, "This is a bathrobe zone." Later that day, she went into town and bought him one, just for good measure.

I'm very sorry I missed this earlier (I got swamped by email & am slowly digging through it now.) It's great, and I love the idea of "bathrobe zones!" Maybe Charlotte can get him an Iron Man robe for a gag gift sometime! {giggles}

Where did the idea for Charlotte come from?

That's sort of a two part thing. I had been watching PotC and then listening to the soundtrack, and just had this vision of Methos comforting a young immortal at the death of her husband. Five minutes later, I was writing it. That became 'One Day'. Even her name, I didn't really think about, it was just Charlotte. If I'd realized there'd be more stories, I would have probably chosen a different name due to the slave Methos has sex with in 'Indiscretions' was named Charlotte, and I usually try not to reuse names. But I thought it was a one off story. Famous last words.

Part two: post story, when it looked like I'd be wrting more Charlotte, I recalled a mind fic I used to write to entertain myself that was PotC, Highlander, and Stargate. Thinking on it, I realized a lot of who the OC was in that fic would work for Charlotte, with the one difference that she wasn't from our time, thrown back into the past. So Charlotte got a new background, but quite a few of her experiences in the 18th century are those I'd conceived of in my mind fic way back when. Like how she met Jack, her first death, and a few adventures.

For reasons unknown, presentday!Tony Stark, Charlotte Sparrow, Pepper Potts, Methos, Ezra, Amanda, Duncan and Joe Dawson along with Captain Jack Sparrow (from 1768 perhaps with Mister Gibbs and others) find themselves in 1867 in a town called Four Corners.
What is presentday!Charlotte's and 1867Charlotte's reaction?

What do the boys get up to with the M7 guys?
What about Amanda and Pepper?
How fast does Joe get a pen and paper out to record all this?
What does Jack think?

If I'm understanding you correctly, Charlotte of today meets herself in the past in NM? So Jack comes from the past to 1867 and the rest from the future travel back to 1867?

I'm sure present day Charlotte would want to tell Chris how he's killed so it doesn't happen. That would be an angst fest. And it would probably cause all sorts of unintended consequences.

I'm sure Tony would seek out a saloon and poker game, and some saloon girls. Give Buck a little competition.

Amanda would be trying to figure out how to work this being back in the past thing work, to make a profit in the future.

I think Jack would be happy that Charlotte, in two futures, had friends and family.

Pepper would be enjoying Buck's obvious admiration for her womanly charms.

Duncan would probably bond with Nathan.

Joe would just soak it all in. Being in the Old West would be a moment for him to just enjoy.
