But hypothetically, if I were to write that Amanda/House fic, and I wanted to watch a handful of the more lighthearted Amanda eps to get her 'voice' right, which would you recommend? I have S2 and up available.

And I need to see if my S1 House DVDs have been returned yet. They've been out on almost constant loan since I got them!

The Amanda eps that I think are the funniest are:

The Return of Amanda
The Cross of St. Antoine
Double Eagle
The Immortal Cimoli
Dramatic Licence
Money No Object
The Stone of Scone

But all of the Amanda eps have an element of comedy. That's just Amanda... :)

I'd also like to add 'Forgive Us Our Trespasses'. This episode has quite a serious premise but Amanda's midnight visit to Methos, to ask for help with Duncan, is probably one of my favourite Amanda scenes! I use it a running gag in a lot of my fics :-)
