During a discussion last week about all the fic that disappears when websites go dark, I decided I should make an attempt to archive all my old fic here on my LJ. Yes, I do have my own domain and archive, and have had for 10 years +. But you never know when money will be tight and such things might have to lapse, and since I do have a permanent account on LJ, this seems as good a place for a back up for my fic as any. Some of my older stuff I have reposted here over the last few years, bit the majority of it hasn't ended up here. But don't worry, I'm not going to inundate you with old fic! I'll do it slowly over the months :)

This is probably one of of my favourite stories, written back in 1998, revised a bit in 2001. The majority of it is set in Ancient Rome. And while Methos isn't actually in it, his presence is definitely felt. This is the alien probe incident referred to in many of the stories written after, the the event that eventually broke Triona and Methos apart. Hard to believe I wrote this nearly ten years ago!

It's rated R for sexual situations and violence.

PART TWO

This one is nearly ten years old, but probably is the story I'm most proud of all these years later. Somebody on a totally unrelated email list mentioned to me last week that she remembered this particular story, and how much she enjoyed it. It was a nice little ego boo!

Oaths

The majority of it takes place in 78 AD, Transalpine Gaul to be exact, and explores reincarnation when one person is mortal, and the other a vampire. One of my rare non crossover fics! It was a finalist in the 1998 Forever Knight Fanfic Awards. It's also the only story I've written two versions of. Back in the day, it was too adult for the FK Fic email list, so I had to tone it down from the R it was to a PG13. This is the PG13 version, but I could probably be persuaded to share the adult version [g]

Rereading the notes, I realize that I'm still in contact with most of my support team/beta readers all these years later. aka_arduinna, otterevil, ninjababe, lilliew, and havocthecat. Thanks, guys!

So, as I was writing my newest fic, I had to refer back to one I wrote back in 1998. When I wrote it, I didn't have access to an actual Star Trek time line, and in rereading, I realized I needed to fix lots of dates. So I did that tonight, and tweaked a few things.
