A More Permanent Hell

Just saw a pre order thingie for it and I have to give a little squee....

Yes, now I've turned to fanfic thoughts in my Magnum revival.

How cool would it be to have Thomas and Jack O'Neill in the same fic? And that thought led to Magnum, now an Admiral, visiting Atlantis. Maybe his daughter is a scientist there, or a fourth generation Naval officer. Or he just goes for some official reason. Not that I'm ever going to actually write any of it, but it would be cool :)

And I need Magnum icons....

The news SG1 was canceled still hasn't quite sunk in yet. While I like Atlantis a lot, if I had to pick which one I'd keep, it would be SG1. On the other hand, ten years is a great run by any yardstick. Well, maybe we'll get a few Farscape tele-movies now. Someone on my Stargate list posted an article from earlier in the year about Henson Productions mulling the possibility of new Farscape projects. Well, at least there's still BSG and DW.

Absolutely one of the best Stargate eps ever!

Can't wait to watch it with ninjababe later today.

I should preface this by saying that I'm something of an 'anti-shipper'. That is, I rarely 'get' the pairings in most shows I'm a fan of, and if I do have some shippy leanings, it's for the oddball couple. For example, I hated the concept of Mulder/Scully as a romantic couple. Personally, I thought it should have been Scully/Skinner :) So, that being said, you'll understand why this is such an odd thought for me. It has to do with Stargate, and some of the recent casting news, so since it's spoilerish, I'm hiding it!
