Mischief and I had a very serious conversation last night. So serious, so important, I think we need your input. Ready?
Who will Dan Clifford bed first?
There you go! Like I said, most serious [g] I'd create a poll, but I'm too lazy. So in the comments you go!
I'm saying Jac right now, subject to change my mind without notice.

Date: 2006-12-08 11:30 pm (UTC)From:Nin has a UK nurses ref. I've found it helpful: http://www.christie.nhs.uk/patientinfo/uniform/nurses/nurses.htm
And this is a UK surgical staff guide: http://www.rcseng.ac.uk/patient_information/publications/who.pdf

Date: 2006-12-09 08:53 am (UTC)From:Maybe this'd help - UK nursing titles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nurse#Nursing_titles). There's a few varieties at each level, probably because the traditional names are very female friendly. I'd love to see a bloke answering to "sister" XD
Here's a good one for registrars etc too: NHS career grades (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Specialist_registrar). Chances are that Holby will stick the older titles for a while because that's what everyone is used to.
On a random note, Kyla's got an estranged hubby - Harvey the sexy copper (at least I reckon he can be sexy when he wants to!). He's the one about to charge Mark for drink driving. They're still wrangling over their son too, which could put certain suitors off.

Date: 2006-12-09 01:46 pm (UTC)From:I was thinking of Dr. Cox on Scrubs, who can pull off the cliched sexist jerk/really caring/dysfunctional relationshipper with greater acidity and charm. He's also, by taste & profession, antagonistic to the supermale surgeon jocks.
This show kind of reminds me of the 1940s-50s nurse-doctor Romance novels.

Date: 2006-12-08 10:55 pm (UTC)From:You never know, there might be one of the infamous Casualty (http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/casualty/characters/)/Holby crossovers this Xmas - the other being set in the same hospital's A&E (ER) dept. Even more opportunities for nookie!
