Thanks for the welcome! ^_^

The more the merrier!

I have no objections to Duncan being all wet. *g* Though the way he drove the stolen car was pretty giggle-inducing.

Nothing to do with anything, but wasn't that an awesome view? The ocean that is, not Methos :)

*grins* Would that make Methos Yoda then? They could be around the same age, I guess. *ducks* I still like my LSD theory though. Might fic that someday.

Well, Yoda had all sorts of roots and herbs in his stump....

Actually, now that I think about it, Methos could have all sorts of reasons for attempting to save the Highlander's head - Duncan could pose a danger to Joe, who is Methos's friend as well. I also liked the comment about the Game somebody made above, though I'm not sure if Methos believes in the Game.

That's the thing with Methos -- you're never entirely sure what his motivations are.

Looks at long, rambly comment. Yes, I am procastinating on my last paper, why do you ask? *g*

It was! Such a pretty day too. (and a pretty Methos - yes, with me, such clarifications are always good!)

Well, Yoda had all sorts of roots and herbs in his stump....

*g* I would say the LSD theory would make more sense than a holy spring designed to give you a *literal* dark side, but this *is* HL we're talking about. *mocks because she loves*

Indeed! I've been re-reading (and reading new-to-me fics) since and friend and I rewatched most of the Methos episodes during my winter break, and one thing I've come to apperciate is the elasticity of the character. With good enough writing, I can believe almost any portrayal of Methos, from the more Adam Pierson side of the spectrum to Death. Though it's also one of the reasons I'm having trouble writing my Methos fic ideas (besides schoolwork) - it's hard to settle on one Methos!

(Although I'm more to the Adam Pierson side - who is now sprawled out on my couch, drinking my beer and laughing at my curse-filled attempts to write this paper. Yes, I'm insane. It's not the first time an imaginary character has taken up residence in my brain. *g*)

LJ comments are the best for procrastinating!

Hee. So they are! I hope I'm at least being entertaining though. ^_^

for?

Yes, oh yes! I'm having some of the same problems myself. And while I'm wrestling with one story, a few other story ideas pop into my head! Argh! Right now, he's being snippy, and I want to smack him upside the head :)

What? That's somehow unusual [g]? I have several imaginary characters in my brain who've taken up residence and ordered room service!

Beer? ...I've spending too much time with "Adam", aren't I?

Right now, he's being snippy, and I want to smack him upside the head :)

Heh. You're lucky, he's being sardonic with me: "Go on, tell the truth, you just can't decide which way to torture me first!" *throws pillow at him* *misses* "Oooh, I'm scared now!" Drat.

*laughs* *chokes on idea of Methos meeting up with Rodney. Or House. Or any of the other characters I keep in my head*

Personally, I'd prefer a nice red wine, but I'm not fussy.

I've come this close to putting House and Methos in the same room. I wrote a HL/Grey's anatomy crossover where House made a cameo, but couldn't work the meeting into that story. But, I have a feeling it will happen in a sequel.

Oooh, I was about to go out and get cookies for the last great writing push anyway - you've convinced me to add red wine to the list for after I'm done. I also like beer though. Nothing beats the combination of good beer, pizza and friends.

I'll love to read it if you do write one! I have a Methos in Princeton ("unlike Paris, to pick a not-so-random example, Princeton was pretty much Immortal-free") snippet around here somehwere, but I need to expand it.

Red wine, fresh bread, and a selection of smelly French and Italian cheeses. My idea of heaven :)

It'll get posted here whenever I do write it, so keep an eye out. Before this became Methos episode discussion central, this was only supposed to a place for my fic [g] That whole concept didn't last long!

Ooh, nice. Not French, but did you know that there are places in Spain which focus pretty much on wine, cheese and tapas? They're called vinotecas and I absolutely did not eat "dinner" there three times that week I was in Santiago de Compostella. *looks innocent*

And I'll keep an eye out for the fic!

Best laid plans, huh? *g* I'll tell you something, *I* was not supposed to get back into HL at all, though I am wonderfully pleased that there's still a pretty active fandom. ^_^

Smelly Spanish cheeses are goo too :) Yes, I did! I've never been to Spain, but that's as good a reason to go as any in my book. I'll take cheese over chocolate any old day.

Glad you're back, because I've really enoyed the conversation today! So don't be a stranger. Thursday is a new episode to discuss!

*grins* Me too! It's seen me through the completion of this paper (13 pages, woot!) and I'm a sucker for anyone who likes Methos, red wine and cheese. *g*

Thursday is a new episode to discuss!

Looking forward to it - I might go back and comment on your old episode posts later in the week, after I get the end-of-term crap out of the way, and before I have to resume work on my thesis - so don't be surprised if you get the odd comment or two from me.

If you ever feel the need to explore that possibility, feel free to join [livejournal.com profile] crossing_lostrp. Multi-fandom Lost-related crack!RP - at least that's what it feels like sometimes :)

We already have Methos (minemineminemine) and Rodney, but House is player-less (Vala too..).

Beer? ...I'm spending too much time with "Adam", aren't I?

Now is that not a good thing?

Talking of muses I seem to have acquired Methos, House and Mac Taylor (CSI NY) nicely eclectic, but noisy in here as I am not writing anything (lots pwp going on though)

(lol in spelling preview eclectic came up as erotic! well it is that too of course!)

I'm not sure where that particualr photo is from, but you may want to look over the photos on the PWFC website (pwfc.org). The photos from this year's calendar are very nice!
