Worse Today
Jun. 27th, 2008 11:51 amThe smoke is even worse today. I go outside, I start coughing, and my voice is getting raspy. There's an actual layer of smoke settled over us. Kinda like when you're sitting around a campfire and the smoke blows across you. I'm thinking of seeing if I can get a ride home tonight if it doesn't clear out some by 5pm. I don't think a nearly mile walk home and my asthma will get along.

As she does every year, mum asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and as I do every year, I reminded her I have a huge Amazon Wish List [g] and as she she replies every year, "Oh, right." But I did point her, via my brother, towards the many cookbooks I want. We'll see if it works this year!
Though of the Day: why do we call it an 'air conditioner'? Really, it makes no sense. Should be an air chiller or air coooler.
Okay, back to Tony, Pepper, Charlotte, and the impending arrival of Obidiah. That name always makes me think of the villain in the Sharpe novels...

This was not what I planned [glares at the muses] Hopefully, it's something people will actually want to read in all its wordy abundance.
Now I need to make dinner. Nin will be home from work soon. Write more tomorrow.
