I've always joked that my personality in part is due to reading Jane Eyre for the first time when I was seven. Just finished watching the newest rendition on Masterpiece Theater, and am thinking maybe that's not quite as much a joke as I thought it was :)

Maybe if I'd read Austen instead of Bronte, I'd have a cheerier outlook on life!

Definitely recommend the new miniseries. Very good, though stuffed into four hours, it's a little sparse in some parts.

Well, my idea was something vague, but it revolved around Methos, in one of his personas, being the inspiration for Bronte for the character of Mr. Rochester. That make sense? Well, it kinda made sense at the time [g]
