Have you ever thought about adopting a child? Would you if you had the opportunity?

Absolutely, and yes, I have thought about it. I'd especially like to adopt a girl from China where girls are routinely abandoned, if not killed outright due to the one child policy. It's an issue I've always been passionate about and made me realize very early on how fortunate I am to be a female here.

I may be shallow, but I try to thank God everyday that I was born a white woman in North America. It frightens me to think of how women are treated in other parts of the world.
