Notes: The Avengers do Halloween pretty much sums this one up. And I blame Tom Hiddleston for what happens at the end of the story, after listening to him speak at New York ComicCon. I couldn't work everyone in for a speaking part, but I did my best. As for when it's set, I'm actually not sure if it's post or pre Avengers, so let's just say it's not too far in the future. After the movie comes out, I'll decide. Tony's trip to the past can be read about here. Comments are greatly appreciated and treasured.

They'd released a teaser a few weeks ago, so was really looking forward to the full thing.And the music, Marvel Swing, is very cool.

Jul. 28th, 2011 04:05 pmWe went to see Captain America again last night, and the second viewing, along with the bit after the credits, has my brain in full gear ficcy thinky thoughts. I still can't believe I'm writing fic with comic book characters in it. Nin is very smug on that count. So much so, she's trying to lure me into reading them by tempting me with a Marvel AU graphic novel she recently discovered set in in Elizabethan England. she is evil!
Right now, the WWII set fic that I ad vague ideas about for a few years, but was waiting for Captain America to come out, has turned into a real story, and I have another modern day Charlotte and Nick Fury ficlet I want to write. Not to mention, I need to finish Transformative Variations. Send me writing vibes!

So, Captain America, saw it Friday withninjababe & strangevisitor7 and we LOVED IT! Going to go see it again tomorrow. Terrific movie, plus the bit after the credits was made of squee!
